1. Light and Small Lifting Equipment
Light and small lifting equipment is divided into four categories: jacks, pulleys, hoists, and winches.
(1) Jacks: can be divided into mechanical jacks (including screw type, rack type), hydraulic jacks (including vertical, vertical-horizontal) etc.;
(2) Pulleys (also known as lifting pulleys, lifting pulley sets): can be divided into hook type pulleys, chain ring type pulleys, and ring type pulleys;
(3) Hoists: can be divided into hand hoists, hand plate hoists, electric hoists, pneumatic hoists, hydraulic hoists, etc.;
(4) Winches: can be divided into winding type winches (including single drum, double drum, multi-drum), friction type winches.
2. Cranes
Cranes can be divided into three main categories: bridge cranes, arm cranes, and cable cranes.
(1) Bridge Cranes
Mainly includes: beam cranes, bridge cranes, gantry cranes, semi-gantry cranes, etc.
(2) Arm Cranes
1) Arm cranes are divided into eleven categories, mainly including: portal cranes and semi-portal cranes, tower cranes, mobile cranes, railway cranes, cantilever cranes, etc.
2) Commonly used arm cranes in construction and installation projects include: tower cranes, mobile cranes, mast cranes.
3) Cable Cranes
According to their structural forms, they can be divided into fixed cable cranes, swinging cable cranes, translational cable cranes, radial cable cranes, and gantry cable cranes.
